Welcome to the Psychology Graduate Students' Association (PGSA) website.
All graduate students in the department of psychology are automatically members of the PGSA. The Graduate Program in Psychology at York University consists of seven areas:
- Brain, Behavior and Cognitive Sciences (BBCS)
- Social Psychology and Personality (SP)
- History and Theory of Psychology (HT)
- Developmental Science (DS)
- Clinical Psychology (C)
- Clinical-Developmental Psychology (CD)
- Quantitative Methods (QM)
In addition to seven areas there is the Clinical Neuropsychology Stream (CNS) which is CPA accredited.
At the heart of the PGSA is the idea of linking the graduate students of all areas and one stream through shared interests and information about each others activities. See position descriptions to know how you can get involved.
All members are welcome to attend meetings, the time and place of meetings are updated on this website.
Use the links on the right to access information on upcoming events, obtain funding information and see what life is like as a graduate student in psychology at York University.
Keep an eye on our meetings schedule if you are interested in helping the PGSA. If you have any ideas about how the PGSA can help you, or events you wish to advertise with the PGSA, please contact us. E-mail any representative of the Executive Committee, and we will forward any concerns onto the executive.
Thank you,
The PGSA (pgsa@yugsa.ca)
